I've visited this part of Italy myself and it's probably my favourite region in the country. The beaches are stunning, the sea is crystal clear and Tropea is one of the prettiest coastal towns I've visited.

Located in Parghelia, this resort makes a great base for exploring Tropea.
It's around one train stop away, has its own pool, breakfast included and even offers a free shuttle to its private beach, making it easy to enjoy the coastline without needing a car.
