A long weekend in Italy for less than a weekend in Blackpool?
Yep… and this one is genuinely doable.
I’ve just priced up a Saturday to Tuesday break (16–19 May) staying at Bella Italia Campsite and the numbers are honestly a bit mad.
This is a classic DIY deal… book flights and accommodation separately and keep the cost right down.

Even as a solo parent with one child, you’re looking at around £139pp for a long weekend in Italy, which is still really strong value.
Once you get to 3 or more people, the price drops quickly… and by the time you hit 5 or 6 sharing, it’s seriously cheap for Italy 🇮🇹
✔️ Cheap flights
✔️ Fixed accommodation cost (the more people, the cheaper it gets)
✔️ Short and easy airport transfer
✔️ Perfect for a quick 3–4 night break
✔️ Solo parents (still great value with 2 sharing)
✔️ Families of 3–6 (where the price really drops)
✔️ Friends sharing
✔️ Anyone short on annual leave
Lake Garda is one of the easiest places in Italy to visit on a short break.
At Bella Italia you’ve got:
• Direct lake access
• Huge pool complex with slides
• Restaurants and takeaways on site
• Walking distance into Peschiera del Garda
• Easy train access to Verona, Venice and Milan
It’s ideal if you want a mix of relaxing and exploring without needing a car.
Nearest airport: Verona
• Bus to Verona train station (~€7pp)
• Train to Peschiera del Garda (~15–20 mins)
• Short taxi to the campsite
Quick, simple and perfect for a short trip.
If you’ve never been, Lake Garda is one of the easiest and most affordable places in Italy to plan a trip like this.
Short flights, simple transport and loads to do… whether you want a relaxing break or a busy itinerary.
And deals like this prove you don’t need a big budget to make it happen.
This Birmingham deal is just one example…
I’ve just sent out more departure options for this trip to my Travel Club members, including:
✈️ London Stansted from £63pp
✈️ Manchester from £81pp
✈️ Bristol from £114pp
✈️ Dublin from £95pp
All based on 3–4 night stays at Bella Italia.
I don’t share all of these publicly, especially when prices are this good.
