Premier Access is Disneyland Paris’ paid skip-the-queue system.
It replaced the old FastPass system, which used to allow you to reserve ride times for free.
Now, if you want to skip the queues on the busiest rides, you need to pay.
There are two options available.
If you’re planning your trip, it’s worth browsing our Disneyland Paris guides hub, where we cover tickets, budgeting, transport and how to plan your days step by step.

This is the option most people are unsure about.
So in simple terms, it gives you access to skip queues on most major rides, but only once per ride.
Premier Access covers most of the rides with the longest queues, including:
The exact list can change slightly, but it generally includes the main headline rides across both parks.
Everything is done through the Disneyland Paris app.
The process is straightforward:
You can buy it in advance or while you’re in the park, but using the app on the day is usually easiest.
We’ve only ever used Premier Access One rather than the full pass.
On two different trips, we paid around £10 per person to skip the queue on Big Thunder Mountain.
Both times we were on short trips, and the queue was around 40 to 60 minutes.
We walked straight on.
For a one-day visit, that made a huge difference to how much we could fit in.
If you only have one day, queue time matters.
Skipping even a couple of long queues can completely change your day.
If you’re visiting for just one day, queue time matters. We break this down fully in our guide on how to plan a one-day Disneyland Paris trip.
School holidays, weekends, Christmas and summer all mean longer wait times.
This is when Premier Access is most useful.
If your focus is the bigger rides, especially with teens, queues are usually longest.
Paying to skip just those can make the day run much smoother.
This is especially true if you’re visiting with older kids or teens.
If you are not sure which rides are worth using Premier Access for, our Best Disneyland Paris Rides for Teens guide breaks down the most popular and highest-demand rides to focus on.
With two or three days, you can spread rides out and use quieter times.
Midweek outside school holidays is usually much more manageable.
Queues are typically shortest:
Planning around these times can reduce the need to pay at all.
If you’re trying to keep costs down, we’ve shared all our best tips in our Disneyland Paris on a budget guide, including when tickets are cheapest and how to avoid unnecessary extras.
This is what we do every time.
Do not buy the full pass.
Instead, choose one to three key rides and pay for those individually.
This allows you to:
Big Thunder Mountain was our priority, and it worked perfectly.
For most people, no.
While it gives you access to a large number of rides, there are a few things to consider:
It can make sense if you have one very busy day and want to do as much as possible without waiting, but for most trips, paying per ride is better value.
Premier Access is not something you need to buy automatically.
It works best when used selectively.
It is worth it for individual rides on busy days and short trips.
It is not worth paying for everything without a plan.
The key is deciding which queues are worth skipping.
No. FastPass used to be free, but it has now been replaced by Premier Access, which is a paid system.
With Premier Access Ultimate, you can only use it once per ride.
With Premier Access One, you can buy access to the same ride again, but you will need to pay each time.
No, you can buy it on the day through the app.
However, popular ride time slots can sell out, so earlier is better if you know you want it.
Crush’s Coaster and Big Thunder Mountain are usually among the busiest.
These are often the best value for skipping the queue.
It depends on your budget and how long you have.
For families on a budget, paying for one or two key rides is usually better than buying the full pass.
Yes.
Arriving early, using quieter times like parades, and planning your day properly can significantly reduce wait times.
