If you’re planning a Disneyland Paris trip, one of the biggest questions is usually:
When is Disneyland Paris cheapest?
And the truth is, prices can vary massively depending on when you go.
We’ve seen the exact same trip double in price just because of school holidays, Halloween or Christmas demand.
Over the years we’ve visited in every season and, as a previous travel agent, I also booked countless Disneyland Paris trips for families. There are definitely certain times of year where prices drop significantly, especially if you can avoid peak dates.
In this guide, I’ll cover:

In general, the cheapest times to visit Disneyland Paris are:
These periods usually offer the best combination of:
The biggest price increases normally happen during:
This is often the cheapest period of the entire year.
Once the Christmas season ends and schools return, Disneyland Paris prices usually drop quite heavily.
And this is one of the few times where Disney Hotel packages can actually work out cheaper than staying off-site.
That surprises a lot of people.
As a previous travel agent, I booked families into Disney Hotels during this period for prices that would have been impossible during peak season.
We regularly saw packages for families of 4 around:
During busier periods, those same packages can easily cost double.
The trade-off is the weather.
January and early February can be:
But if budget matters most, this is usually the best value period overall.
If you’re visiting during winter, it’s worth planning some indoor attractions and shows into your day too.

If weather matters more than cost, we’ve also broken down the best months for warmer temperatures and lower rain chances.
June is one of my favourite times to visit Disneyland Paris.
You usually get:
It’s one of those rare periods where you can still get a “summer feel” without paying full summer prices.
Flights also tend to remain fairly reasonable in June compared to school holiday periods.
In our experience, June gives one of the best balances between:
If you need to travel during the summer holidays, the final week of August is often one of the better-value options.
A lot of European schools have already returned by this point, which can help reduce prices slightly compared to earlier in August.
You still get:
But prices can sometimes soften slightly compared to peak August weeks.
This has actually been one of our most common times to visit over the years.

This is another one of my favourite times to visit Disneyland Paris.
The Halloween season is already running, so you still get:
But prices are usually much lower than later in October.
Crowds also tend to be far more manageable before half term arrives.
Weather-wise, we’ve often found early October surprisingly good too.
A lot of our trips during the first week of October have still been warm enough for:
For overall value, this is probably one of the smartest times to visit Disneyland Paris.
November is another really underrated time to visit.
This is because the Christmas season normally begins part way through the month.
Which means you can often experience:
Without paying peak December prices.
Mid-November weekdays in particular can offer really good value.
By December weekends, prices usually rise significantly again.
So November is one of the best examples of getting the “special season” experience without the highest costs.
The most expensive periods are usually:
During these periods:
If you have flexibility, avoiding these dates can save a huge amount.
If you’re trying to reduce costs even further, we’ve also put together a full guide to doing Disneyland Paris on a budget, including cheaper hotels, food tips, transport and ways to cut queue costs.
Most of the time, off-site hotels are cheaper.
But not always.
During quieter periods like January and early February, Disney package deals can become surprisingly competitive.
Especially once:
are included.
This is why it’s always worth pricing both options rather than assuming off-site is automatically cheaper.
If you’re trying to decide between staying on-site or off-site, we’ve compared both options in full here.
Midweek is usually cheapest.
The best-value days are typically:
Fridays and weekends usually increase in price quite quickly.
This applies to:
Even shifting your trip by a couple of days can make a noticeable difference.
For us, the best balance overall is usually:
These periods usually give a really good mix of:
January is usually cheapest overall, but personally we prefer slightly milder weather if possible.
One of the biggest misconceptions about Disneyland Paris is that cheaper trips mean a worse experience.
That’s not always true at all.
In fact, some of our favourite trips have been during cheaper periods because:
Timing your trip properly can make a much bigger difference than people realise.
